Two arrested for theft in house, stolen items recovered

JAMMU, July 11: Bahu Fort Police arrested two persons for theft in house and recovered stolen item from them.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a man namely Pawan Kumar, son of Vakil Chand of Bahu Fort Basti District Jammu with Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu stating that three local boys have committed theft in his dwelling house at Shahbad Colony Bahu Fort District Jammu and decamped with 25 packs of tiles, electric wire and other items.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 64/2022 under sections 454 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu and investigation started.
During the course of the investigation, a team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspector Sikander Singh put in hectic efforts and finally arrested two thieves, who were identified as Atul Dogra, son of Surinder Kumar and Sumit Kumar, son of Mohan Lal, both residents of Kacha Talab Bahu Fort District Jammu.
On their disclosure, 9 packs of stolen tiles have been recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
