DODA, Nov 23: Bhaderwah police arrested two persons and recovered illicit liquor from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bhaderwah Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 36 small bottles of illicit liquor from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Sandeep alias Manu, son of Joginder Paul of Seri Bazaar, Tehsil Bhaderwah District Doda.
Meanwhile, a team from Bhaderwah Police Station arrested one more person along with 9 bottles and 14 small bottles of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Ganesh Singh, son of Hakim Singh, a resident of Puneja.
Cases under relevant sections have been registered at Bhaderwah Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Muneer Khan made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Aadil Reshu, Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Shabir Malil.
