JAMMU, Dec 28: Jourian police arrested two persons and recovered illicit liquor pouches from their possession.
As per police sources, a team from Jourian police station during checking at Dhanger Chowk intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AF-9084.
During checking, police recovered 31 pouches of illicit liquor from their possession and arrested them on the spot.
The accused have been identified as Joginder Ram, son of Ajeet Raj and Ashwani Kumar, son of Darshan Lal, both residents of Dhallan Tehsil Khour.
A case under FIR Number 192/16 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered against them at Akhnoor police station and investigation started.
