DODA, Mar 31: Bhaderwah police arrested two persons and recovered illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, during checking at Jai Road, a team from Bhaderwah Police Station intercepted a pedestrian.
During checking, police recovered 40 pouches of illicit liquor from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Sanjay Kumar, son of Prithvi Raj Thakur of Kundoso Tehsil Bhalla.
Meanwhile, a team from Bhaderwah Police Station arrested another pedestrian along with 37 pouches of illicit liquor from Domail area.
The accused has been identified as Narinder Singh, son of Mashir Singh of Masri Prano.
Cases under FIR Numbers 33/18 and 34/18 under Section 48-A Excise Act have been registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Muneer Khan along with SI Zaheer Iqbal made the arrests under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
