Two arrested in murder case

JAMMU,  May 28: Two persons have been arrested for killing a Nepali youth in Narwal area within 24 hours.
As per police sources, a Nepali youth namely Ravi (25) was found murdered this morning in his rented room at Rajeev Nagar, Narwal, where he was residing with two other youths namely Ashish and Vashisht.
As per initial investigation, all the three youth were working as labourers with a courier company and last night they had scuffle and today morning, Ravi was found murdered in his room. The deceased was brutally stabbed with a knife in the stomach.
On getting information from the house owner, police reached the spot and shifted the body of the deceased to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for postmortem.
A murder case against Vashisht and Ashish, both residents of Banaras, Uttar Pradesh was registered at Trikuta Nagar police station and manhunt was launched to nab the accused.
On specific information, a team from Trikuta Nagar police station conducted raid and nabbed the accused namely Vashisht and Ashish.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Trikuta Nagar Inspector Kuldeep Khajuria and assisted by Incharge, police post Narwal SI Wasim Mehraj made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Chandan Kohli and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
