Two arrested for rash driving

JAMMU, Nov 8: Gandhi Nagar police today arrested two persons for rash driving, which resulted into accident.
As per police sources, a white colour Bolero bearing registration number JK02AX-1000 being rashly driven by Varinder Singh, son of Prem Singh of Shastri Nagar in a drunken condition turned turtle opposite Presentation Convent School, Gandhi Nagar late this evening.
On getting information, police team from Gandhi Nagar police station rushed to the spot and evacuated two persons from the vehicle including driver.
Both the occupants of the vehicle received minor brushes and were taken into custody for rash driving. The one another, who was in the vehicle along with the driver has been identified as Jaswinder Singh, son of Dayal Singh of Trikuta Nagar.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Gandhi Nagar police station against both the occupants of the car and investigation started.
The arrest was made by SHO Gandhi Nagar Paramjeet Singh under the supervision of SDPO Gandhi Nagar Harjeet Singh and SP South Rahul Malik.
