UDHAMPUR, Dec 2: Roun Domail police arrested two persons for smuggling bovine animals to Valley.
As per reports, based on reliable information, a team from Roun Domail police station laid a naka and intercepted a Srinagar bound vehicle bearing registration number JK14A-7775.
During checking, police rescued 7 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested two persons, who have been identified as Shakeel Ahmed, son of Manzoor Ali of Jakheni and Imran Bhatt, son of Sher Mohammad Bhatt of Sambal Danga, District Udhampur.
A case under FIR Number 394/16 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at police station Udhampur and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Roun Domail police post SI Khyati Maan Khajuria made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Udhampur Inspector OP Chib, DySP Headquarters Udhampur SS Billoria and SSP Udhampur Shailendra Kumar Mishra.
