JAMMU, Apr 7: Miran Sahib Police arrested two persons and recovered 147 bottles of illicit liquor from their possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Mirza Sultan under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh laid nakas at different locations and intercepted two vehicles bearing registration numbers JK02CU-8339 and JK02BH-3840.
During search, police team recovered 147 bottles of illicit liquor from the vehicles and arrested two persons, who were identified as Tejinder Singh, son of Karam Singh of Makhanpur Gujjran Miran Sahib and Jyoti Gupta, son of Chander Bushan of Rattian, Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu.
Cases under FIR Numbers 29/2022 and 30/2022 under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
