Two arrested with counterfeit Indian currency notes

SAMBA, Aug 27: Bari Brahmana Police arrested two persons along with 10 counterfeit Indian currency notes.
As per police sources, during patrolling a team from Police Station Bari Brahmana led by SHO Inspector Rajesh Sharma intercepted two persons, who were moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 18 counterfeit currency notes in the denomination of Rs 500 from their possession and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Manmeet Singh, son of Kavi Singh, a resident of Govind Nagar Digiana District Jammu and Sandeep Charak, son of Manohar Singh of village Sarore, Bari Brahmana.
A case FIR Number 209/2021 under Section 489 C IPC has been registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana and investigation started.
The whole operation was conducted under the supervision of SSP Samba Rajesh Sharma.
