JAMMU, Nov 23: Khour and Pallanwala Police arrested two persons along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Khour laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 65 quarters of illicit liquor from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Prakash, son of Chatter Singh of Amritsar Punjab, at present Khour District Jammu.
Meanwhile, a team from Police Post Pallanwala during checking apprehended a man along with 60 quarters of illicit liquor.
The arrested person was identified as Sita Ram, son of Bachan Lal of Samwan Tehsil khour District Jammu.
Cases under FIR Numbers 73/2021 and 74/2021 under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Khour and investigation started.
Police teams led by SHO Police Station Khour Inspector Balvinder Singh and Incharge Police Post Pallanwala SI Vijay Kumar made the arrests under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Varun Jandial and SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma.
