Two arrested with Rs 9,500 stake money

JAMMU, Apr 14: City Police arrested two gamblers along with Rs 9,500 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station City led by SHO Inspector Rakesh Sharma under the supervision of SDPO City Sharad Kalu conducted raid and apprehended two gamblers along with Rs 9,500 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons were identified as Anmol Mahajan, son of Indu Mahajan of Malhotra Street District Jammu and Selish Khokhar, son of Happy Khokhar of Christian Colony District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 17/2022 under Section 3/4 Gambling Act has been registered at Police Station City and investigation started.
