JAMMU, May 10: Sidhra Police arrested two persons along with stolen items worth Rs 60,000.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged at Police Post Sidhra regarding theft of 20 shuttering plates value worth Rs 60000 from Lane Number 8 Tawi Vihar Colony Sidhra District Jammu.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 191/2022 under Section 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh and Incharge Police Post Sidhra SI Majid Hussain was constituted under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar.
The team did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV cameras footage finally arrested two persons along with stolen items. An auto which was used to commit the theft has also been seized.
The arrested persons were identified as Ismail, son of late Faqir Mohd of Ragoora Sidhra and Dharam Paul, son of Amar Chand of Narwal Bala District Jammu.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
