Two arrested with stolen motorcycles

JAMMU, Feb 18: Akhnoor Police arrested two persons along with stolen motorcycles.
As per police sources, on February 13 this year, a complaint was lodged by Raj Kumar, son of Jai Pal of Ward Number 6, Sunail Tehsil Akhnoor with Police Station Akhnoor regarding theft of his motorcycle bearing registration number JK02BK-7426.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 41/2021 under Section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Akhnoor and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Akhnoor led by SHO Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Varun Jandial rounded up several suspects and finally arrested two persons.
The arrested persons were identified as Banu Singh, son of Amar Singh of Bhandal Kallan Tehsil Akhnoor and Rahul Kumar alias Chidi, son of Kalu Ram of Ward Number 4 Jio Potta Mohalla. On their disclosure, two motorcycles including one having registration number JK02BK-7426 were recovered.
The whole operation was carried out under the guidance and supervision of SP Rural Sanjay Sharma and SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
