JAMMU, Dec 9: Channi Himmat Police arrested two thieves along with stolen water tank and tractor.
As per police sources, while investigating a theft case registered under FIR Number 191/2021 under Section 379 IPC, a team from Police Station Channi Himmat led by SHO Inspector Deepak Katoch under the supervision of SDPO East Sajad Sarwar was constituted.
The team after strenuous efforts generated the input that the thieves have taken the water tank and tractor to Shibba Bamyal area in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kanachack.
Finally, with assistance of police team of Police Station Kahnachak two suspects were rounded up namely Mohammad Latif, son of Bagh Hussain of Top Paloura District Jammu and Abdul Rashid, son of Mohammad Sadiq of Dasanu District Reasi, at present Lower Muthi District Jammu.
During questioning, the accused confessed their involvement in the above case and on their disclosure stolen water tank along with tractor bearing registration number JK02AP 4398 were recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
