JAMMU, Sept 2: Two youth were injured when they were attacked with some sharp edged weapons by some miscreants here at Exchange Road, late last night.
According to a police spokesman, over some old enmity, a group of about six to seven youth attacked two other youth namely Himanshu (27) son of late Ram Lal of Mastgarh and Nitin Mohan (26) son of Mohan Lal Gupta of New Plot, with sharp edged weapons, late last night in front of Ashoka Bar at Exchange Road.
In the attack, both the youths got several injuries. They were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. Meanwhile, police had registered a case in this connection against accused persons and started investigations.
The two accused were identified as Shubhum and Kalu while others were unidentified. However, no arrest or recovery of weapons were could be made till the last reports came in.
