JAMMU, Jan 21: Gangyal police arrested two bike lifters and recovered three stolen motorcycles from their possession.
As per police sources, Gangyal police arrested two bike lifters and recovered three stolen motorcycles from their possession. The stolen vehicles recovered include Passion-Pro red-black colour bearing registration number JK02AR-0680, Pulsar motorcycle without registration number and Super Splendor blue colour bearing registration number JK02AF-2487.
The accused have been identified as Prabjot Singh alias Kasho, son of Ashok Singh of Chhatisingh Pura, Anantnag, at present Beli Charana and Surinder Kumar, son of Thakur Dass of Falora Nagbani, tehsil Marh.
A case under FIR number 9/15 under Section 379 RPC has been registered at Gangyal police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Gangyal police station Inspector Ajay Jamwal made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Gandhi Nagar Harjeet Singh, SP South Rahul Malik and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
