Two booked for ‘disrespecting’ national anthem in Rajouri

JAMMU: Two people have been booked for allegedly disrespecting national anthem during a function in Rajouri district.
The National Anthem was disrespected on Wednesday at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University during valedictory function of Silver Rolling Trophy wherein Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra was the chief guest.
Some of the students were found sitting and clicking selfie when the national anthem was played, police said.
”We have registered a case under Section 3 of Prevention of Insult to National Honour Act (PINHA) under FIR number 519/2017,” police said here on Thursday.
They said that no arrest has been made so far while investigations are in progress. (AGENCIES)
