JAMMU, Feb 17: Police in Narwal area claimed to have arrested two persons for forgery today.
A police spokesperson said that a complaint was registered at Police Post Narwal by one Sanjiv Kumar, Manager of C3i Consultants India Pvt. Ltd. alleging therein that two shops in Narwal area sold him duplicate filters of Kirloskar and Bosch companies.
On his complaint, the spokesperson said that teams of PP Narwal led by SDPO East Sayed Zaheer Abbas Jafari assisted by SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Nayat Ali and incharge PP Narwal, SI Lalit Kumar conducted searches in the shops in the presence of magistrate and recovered 100 duplicate filters of Bosch and 55 duplicate filters of Kirloskar.
He said that accordingly an FIR under relevant sections of the law was registered against the accused identified as Gopal Bakshi of Bakshi Nagar, Jammu and Vishal Arora of Kunjwani, Jammu and further investigation taken up.
