Jammu, Jan 15: Two Kashmiri poetry and short story books titled Harisaat and Soz-i-Dil, both by the eminent poet Santosh Shah ‘Nadaan’ were released under the banner of Adbi Kunj J&K (Rgd.), Jammu today at K.L. Sehgal Hall (Writers Club, J&K Academy of Art Cullture and languages) Jammu . The writer has track record of publishing 19 books on different subjects since she started her literary work in 1985.
The detailed papers on two books were read by critic, translator, poet and writer Vijay Wali and senior juniorlist Adarsh Ajit who highly acclaimed the books of ‘Nadaan’.
President of Adbi Kunj Sham Talib presided over the function. He appreciated the efforts of writer Santosh Shah ‘Nadaan’ for her literary services and also her role and contribution as the vice president of the Adbi Kunj. The dias was shared by the renowned scholars Prof P. N. Trisal as Chief guest, Mohammad Zaman Azurdah and Wali Muhmmad Aseer Kishtwari as guests of honour and Sohel Kazmi as the special guest.
A galaxy of writers and poets were present during the function. Anchoring of the function was done by Ramesh Marhatta, the senior broadcaster All India Radio.
At the conclusion of the function, the vote of thanks was presented by Om ‘Arsh’ Dalmotra, Chairman of the organization .
