Two bovine smugglers held

JAMMU, Feb 27: Nagrota police today arrested two bovine smugglers and rescued seven milch animals from their possession.
Police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Nagrota police station laid a naka and intercepted a Srinagar bound Tata mobile bearing registration number JK02AB-9104.
During checking, police recovered seven bovine animals and arrested two persons identified as Fayaz Ahmed, son of Ghulam Ali and Amanat Ali, son of Shah Mohd of Rangoora, Jammu.
A case under Section 188 RPC, 3 PCA Act has been registered at Nagrota police station and investigation started.
Police party led by SHO OP Chib made the arrest under the direct supervision of SDPO Khalik Choudhary.
