UDHAMPUR, June 4: In a tragic incident, two boys drowned while taking bath at Vrindavan Nallah in village Kanha Ramnagar, here this afternoon.
Identity of the drowned boys was established as Krishav alias Golu (15), son of Gopal Dass of Kanah, Tehsil Ramnagar and Manat (15) son of Madan Gopal of Kanah.
They were been taking bath in the Nallah along with another friend when they slipped into deep water and drowned around 3.30 pm.
In being informed, a Police party, led by SHO Ramnagar Inspector Sureshwar Singh reached the spot and with help of locals, launched a search operation to locate bodies of the deceased, which were fished out later and shifted to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar.
In this connection Ramnagar Police have registered a case and initiated inquest proceeding U/S 174 Cr.PC for further investigation.
