Two brothers arrested for smuggling bovines

RAMBAN, Feb 22: Police arrested two brothers for smuggling bovine animals to Kashmir.
As per police sources, police team from Ramban police station laid a naka and intercepted a Srinagar bound truck bearing registration number JK05B-2094.
During checking, police rescued 13 bovine animals and arrested two brothers, who has been identified as Mohammad Amin and Bashir Ahmed, sons of Ghulam Hussain, residents of Bandipora, Srinagar.
A case under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Ramban police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramban police station Ajay Chib made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
