JAMMU, Feb 8: Government Medical College (GMC) Principal, Dr Sunanda Raina today ordered suspension of two doctors, posted in the Chest Diseases (CD) Hospital for unauthorized absenteeism from the duty.
The doctors placed under suspension included Dr Manik Mahajan, Registrar and Dr Heena Naaz, Demonstrator.
They have been asked to explain their unauthorized abstention from the duty within 48 hours of the order.
During the period of suspension, the doctors will remain attached with the office of Medical Superintendent, CD Hospital, Jammu.
Advisor K Vijay Kumar, Incharge Health and Medical Education had inspected the CD Hospital yesterday during which it was observed that many employees/ doctors were either absent from the duty or had come late to the hospital.
