Srinagar : Army has allegedly killed two civilians early in the morning in a North Kashmir village leading to protests.
Sources said that Army had laid an ambush at village Markundal in the Safapora area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district and early in the morning, some civilians who had come out on seeing suspicious movement outside. Army fired at them killing two civilians.
The dead have been identified as Irshad Ahmad and Irfan Ahmad.
Police and para-military Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has been deployed in the sensitive areas of North Kashmir to prevent protests.
