JAMMU, Aug 26: Two cops of J&K Police were among six persons, who were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, two constables of State police were injured when the bike they were going on, got slipped in Kanachak area of city outskirts. The injured cops have been identified as Constable Nitish Singh (25) son of Snaot Singh, a resident of Ramban and Constable Ravi Kumar, a resident of Akhnoor.
An 18-year-old youth identified as Shubham Mehra son of Raj Kumar, a resident of Qasim Nagar, was also injured when the bike on which they were travelling, was hit by a load carrier here at Vivekanand Chowk.
A bike-borne youth also suffered injuries when his bike was hit by an unknown vehicle near JDA Complex, New Plot, Jammu. The injured youth has been identified as Vijay (18) son of Bishamber Dass, a resident of Janipur.
Two men identified as Bishan Dass (48) of Pamposh Colony, Janipur and Bishan Lal (45) son of Kammu Ram, a resident of Purkhoo, also got injured when their respective two-wheelers got slipped at Bahu Fort and Purkhoo, respectively.
