REASI, Nov 26: District Administration Reasi is gearing up for two-day Mega Employment Fair commencing from November 28.
This is for the first time that about 60 departments, organizations, placement agencies, co-operations and Universities will participate in the fair. Apart from other employment schemes SKEWPY, JKSES and PMEGP will be the special focus of the fair. Not only this with the active participation of Army, NHPC and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, youth from remote areas will be facilitated to visit the venue. Carrier Counseling session is also being organised in the fair, where the aspirants of various competitive examinations will also be guided by IAS , IPS and army officers invited from various districts.
DDC Reasi Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary informed that the fair is being organised for youth, entrepreneurs as well as students of district and the departments like animal husbandry, employment, handloom, cooperative, horticulture, handicrafts will display special schemes being implemented in the district. Entrepreneurship assistance will also be provided to youth.
He further added that special cells under UDAAN and National Rural Livelihood Mission and stalls of Development Corporation, ST/SC/OBC, NHPC, KRCL, BSNL and other agencies will also be established. More than 50 youth will be provided assistance under various schemes for starting their own enterprises.
A team of judges will assess the performance of departmental stalls and best stalls will be awarded.
DDC has called upon all the people especially students and unemployed youth of district Reasi to participate in the mega employment fair.
