Two days workshop on ‘Road Safety’ concludes

JAMMU, Apr 13: A two days workshop on ‘Road Safety’ organized by the Science Wing of State Institute of Education Jammu for teachers, masters and lecturers from different DIETs and schools of Jammu Division concluded.
A total number of 36 participants from various districts of Jammu Division participated in the workshop.
The workshop was organized to train the participants in promoting good traffic sense and discipline among young students.
The workshop was inaugurated by the Joint Director (trgs)/Principal SIE, Jammu Mohammad Iqbal who while speaking appealed to the participant for making sincere efforts in developing awareness among students regarding road safety rules.
Kulwant Kour, Field Advisor Incharge Social Science Wing presented the welcome address.
External Resource Persons Inspector Vikas Gorkha Traffic City Jammu and Inspector Jalal-Din-Fani Traffic Rural Jammu from Traffic Police Department of J&K enlightened the participants with relevant information and guidance pertaining to road safety and its importance.
Rakhti Atri, RO, Social Science Wing acted as the co-ordinator of the workshop.
The staff members of SIE Jammu including all Field Advisors were present in the workshop.
