JAMMU, June 4: In separate cases, two male dead bodies were found from City and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the dead body of a man (age about 65-70 years) appears to be a beggar was spotted this morning by some passersby in front of a shop here at Karan Market. He said that on their information, a police team from police post Hari Market led by SI Ranjeet Singh reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for identification/post mortem.
Another dead body was found late last night in Domana area of city outskirts. The spokesman said that the deceased identified as Jai Kumar (30) son of Mohan Lal, resident of Parwah (Marh), was found dead in his auto near his residence. He said that prima facie there seems nothing mysterious into his death and the exact reason of his death will be known only after post mortem for which his body was shifted to mortuary room of GMCH Jammu.
In both cases, the concerned police had initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC.
