JAMMU, Aug 28: The dead body of an unknown man of age about 45 years was recovered today from main market of RS Pura while another dead body was recovered tonight from a lodge in Gujjar Nagar area of Jammu.
“The dead body of an unidentified non-local man was spotted today along a road in RS Pura area near SBI bank by some passersby, who informed the police”, a police official said, adding body was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification and post mortem.
“Meanwhile, the dead body of a Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrim namely Arvind Sharma (47) son of Parkash Chander Sharma, resident of Faridabad, New Delhi, was found tonight in Brij lodge at Gujjar Nagar”, the official said.
He said that the deceased had come to the lodge yesterday morning and was last seen today afternoon.
In both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
