Two dead bodies found; girl dies after consuming poison

KATHUA, May 8: Nagri Parole Police has recovered an unknown body which was lying hanging on a tree near a farm at Darala village this morning.
The owner of the farm informed the police which rushed to the spot and took the body into its custody. The body has been kept in District Hospital Kathua for identification and Kathua police has also informed Punjab Police regarding the dead body whose identification is yet to be ascertained.
In another case the Bari Brahmana Police recovered the body of Tejinder Singh, son of Bhagat Singh of Digiana at SIDCO Chowk Bari Brahmana this morning.
According to reports, Tejinder Singh was missing from his house since yesterday evening.
The people after seeing the body lying in the Chowk informed SHO Bari Brahmana, Police Station, Arun Jamwal who along a team of police men rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital. It was later handed over to its family after autopsy. The police has registered a case and started investigation.
A girl from village Rakh Chak in Ramgarh area of Samba district who had consumed some poisonous substance yesterday died late last night in GMC Jammu where she was brought for treatment.
The girl who was identified as Satmit Kour daughter of Lakhvir Singh of Rakh Chang Ramgarh in Samba district consumed some poisonous substance at her residence yesterday and became unconscious. Her family members shifted her to Vijaypur Hospital for treatment but seeing her condition deteriorating she was later shifted to GMC Jammu where she died late last night.
The Ramgarh police has registered a case under Section 174 and started investigation.
