Two dead bodies recovered

JAMMU, Nov 29: Two male dead bodies were recovered today from separate areas in city outskirts.
“The dead body of an unknown man of age about 40-45 years was recovered today from backside of Surya Tower building in Bahu Plaza area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Trikuta Nagar,” a police official said. He said the deceased, which appears to be a non-local labourer is 5 feet 5 inches tall and was wearing white coloured Pant and Kurta and blue coloured sweater.
“The body has been shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem,” the official further said, adding, inquest proceeding in this connection has been initiated at police station Trikuta Nagar. He said any information about the identity and residential particulars of the deceased may be given to concerned police station or PCR Jammu.
Meanwhile, a man identified as Jagdeep Singh (55) son of Billa Singh, resident of Punjab, was found dead today in a tailoring shop located at Baba Fareed Nagar, Bandurakh (Gangyal, Jammu) which he was running from last some years.
The body was sent for postmortem while inquest proceeding in this connection was initiated at police station Gangyal.
