KISHTWAR, Jan 5: Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kishtwar Dr Sham Parshad Gupta today ordered suspension of eight employees, who were found unauthorizedly absent from duty.
According to official spokesperson, Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Inderwal GM Saroori paid a surprise visit to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Chhatroo and found eight employees unauthorizedly absent.
The matter was taken up with CMO Kishtwar Dr Sham Parshad Gupta, who ordered immediate suspension of the employees.
The employees suspended are Dr Farid Ahmad Wani, MO (ISM) NRHM, Mohammad Ishaq Dawasaz (NRHM), Babita Devi FMPHW (NRHM), Vikas BAM&EO (NRHM), Naseer Ahmed BAM (NRHM), Dr Syed Tajamul, Dental Surgeon (Contractual), Farooq Ahmed Laboratory Technician, Mahtaba Begum, Nursing Orderly.
They will remain attached with BMO Office Chhatroo.
BMO Chhatroo will charge sheet Farooq Ahmed Laboratory Technician, Mahtaba Begum, Class IV and furnish detailed report. Dr Syed Tajamul, Dental Surgeon (Contractual) will be charge sheeted and his case for termination will be recommended to the higher authorities. His salary has been stopped immediately till further orders.
The staff working under NRHM will also be charge sheeted and their case for termination from their respective hiring will be recommended to the competent authority. Their salaries will be kept withheld till further orders.
