Two drug peddlers arrested

RAMBAN, July 8: Sangaldan Police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested two drug peddlers.
As per police sources, a team from Police Post Sangaldan laid a naka and intercepted a motorcycle.
During checking, police team recovered 5 grams of heroin and 7 strips of intoxicant medicines and arrested two persons riding on the motorcycle.
The arrested persons were identified as Irfan Ahmed, son of Abdul Latif Shaan and Kamran Ahmed, son of Manzoor Sheikh, both residents of Dharam District Ramban.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Gool and investigation started.
A team from Police Post Sangaldan led by PSI Aakash Magotra made the arrests under the supervision of SHO Gool Inspector Mushtaq Ahmed Jaral, SDPO Gool Nihar Ranjan and SP Ramban Mohita Sharma.
