JAMMU, Apr 26: Gandhi Nagar Police arrested two drug peddlers with around 25 grams heroin.
As per police sources, during checking at Shivaji Chowk, a team from Police Station Gandhi Nagar led by PSI Sonu Choudhary under the supervision of SHO Gandhi Nagar Inspector Pankaj Sharma intercepted two persons who were standing on road side with their vehicles under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered around 25 grams of heroin and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Mandeep Singh, son of Satnam Singh of Preet Nagar Digiana District Jammu and Tejinder Pal Singh, son of Davinder Singh of Indira Nagar Miran Sahib District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 96/2022 Section 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment and other persons involved in this illegal trade.
