KATHUA, July 27: Police today arrested two drug peddlers and recovered over 200 intoxicant capsules from their possession.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Kathua Police Station laid a naka at Dream Land road and intercepted two persons moving suspiciously.
Police recovered 210 intoxicant capsules from their possession and arrested both the drug peddlers, who have been identified as Ajay Kumar, son of Sohan Lal of Ward No. 3 and Jatinder Kumar, son of Parshotam of Ward No. 15.
A case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Kathua Police Station and investigation started.
