SRINAGAR, July 10: Police have arrested two drug peddlers in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, an official said today.
The official said that the police arrested the duo in two separate raids and also recovered banned drugs from their possession.
He identified the duo as Muneer Ahmad Bhat of Syed Kareem locality and Arif Sultan Bhat of Baghi Islam locality in the Baramulla Town.
“145 tablets of spasmoproxivon were recovered from the possession of Muneer and a case under FIR 114/2015 under Section 8/21 NDPS act was registered against him.
14 bottles of codeine were recovered from the possession of Arif and a case under FIR number 115/2015 under Section 8/21 NDPS has been registered against him,” the official said.
