Srinagar, Feb 24: Police today said it in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district today apprehended two notorious drug peddlers.
A police spokesman said two wanted drug peddlers namely Shakeel Ahmed Gojree and Suhail Ahmed karnaie were arrested from Azad Gunj in Old Town area of the district.
“32 bottles of codine were recovered from the possession of Shakeel Gojree and a case under FIR number 48/2016 under Section 8/22 NDPS has been registered against him,” said the spokesman.
He said 24 bottles of codine were recovered from the possession of Suhail Karnaie and a case under FIR number 49/2016 under Section 8/22 was registered against him. “Both the cases are being investigated thoroughly,” the spokesman added.
