Two drug peddlers held with intoxicant capsules

JAMMU, Sept 23: Police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested two drug peddlers along with 1200 intoxicant capsules from Mishriwala area, falling under the jurisdiction of Kanachack police station.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Kanachack police station raised a naka at Mishriwala and intercepted two pedestrians.
During checking, police recovered 1200 intoxicant capsules from their possession and arrested both the drug dealers.
The accused have been identified as Parshotam Singh alias Pappi and Balbir Singh alias Kuna, both residents of Mishriwala.
A case under FIR Number 131/16 under Section 48-B Excise Act has been registered at Kanachack police station and investigation started.
Police team led by ASI Mohan Lal made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Kanachack police station Rajesh Kumar, SDPO Domana Surinder Kumar and SP Rural Arun Kumar.
