JAMMU, July 7: R S Pura police has nabbed two drug peddlers with a heroin like substance.
“While at naka checking at Bhagat Singh Chowk during intervening night of July 6 and 7, a team of police station RS Pura intercepted two pedestrians on suspicion and on their personal checking, recovered 10 gram of ‘Chitta’ packed in two pouches,” police sources said.
“Both the accused identified as Pawan Kumar son of Sat Paul of ward number 4 (RS Pura) and Rohit Sharma son of Surjit Kumar of Satrian (Suchetgarh) were arrested and the recovered ‘Chitta’ seized,” sources said, adding, a case under NDPS Act was registered in this connection at police station RS Pura and further investigation initiated.
