Two drug peddlers held with heroin

JAMMU, July 15: Police in Bakshi Nagar area claimed today that they have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 100 grams of heroin from their possession.
A police spokesperson said that a team of Bakshi Nagar Police Station led by SHO Bakshi Nagar Inspector Rakesh Sharma assisted by incharge Police Post Sarwal PSI Baljeet Singh Parihar under the supervision of SP city North Kulbir Honda and SDPO Bakshi Nagar DySP Vikram Bhau intercepted two suspects near Glass Factory Toph Morh, Jammu.
During search of the suspects identified as Mohammad Mansha of Gazia Road, Miran Sahib, Jammu, and Rahmat Ali of Malpur Batehra, Akhnoor, Jammu, 100 grams of heroin was recovered.
Police have arrested the accused and booked them in case FIR number 101/2023 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar Jammu and taken up further investigation.
