UDHAMPUR, July 23: Police here today arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 11 gm heroin like substance from their possession.
Cops from Police Post Tikri headed by Incharge Police Post Tikri, Sub-Inspector Abdul Satar laid a surprise Naka and frisked two pedestrians Rafaqat, son of Mohd Shafi, resident of Ward number 12, Udhampur and Birju, son of Vakil Ram, resident of Ward number 13, Mohalla Santosh Pura, Jalandhar.
During their search 11 gm heroin was recovered and the peddlers were arrested on spot.
In this regard, a case under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rehambal and investigation started.
