Two drug peddlers nabbed with intoxicants

JAMMU, Jan 1: Two drug peddlers were nabbed along with large quantity of intoxicant capsules from Maralia Morh, falling under the jurisdiction of Miran Sahib police station.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Miran Sahib police station laid a naka at Maralia Morh and intercepted two persons, who were moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 1200 intoxicant capsules and arrested both the drug peddlers, who have been identified as Abdul Karim alias Sonu, son of Abdul Rashid, a resident of Barsopur and Mukesh Kumar, son of Darshan Kumar, a resident of Gande.
A case under FIR number 2/15 under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Miran Sahib police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib police station SI Mohammad Iqbal Chagatta made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Devinder Singh, SP Headquarters Randhir Singh and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
