JAMMU, Feb 14: Two persons were found dead under mysterious circumstances while another committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan at his home here on Tuesday, police said.
They said one Raju (42) son of Surinder Pal of Nanak Nagar was found in a drain near his home in a suspicious condition.
“He was declared as dead on arrival at GMC Jammu,” police said.
At Amar Colony area of the district, police said, one Rajesh Sahu (20) son of Sukalu Sahu of Chhattisgarh at present Tallab Tillo, Jammu, was found unconscious in an underground tank.
“He was also pronounced as dead on arrival at the hospital,” police further said.
Meanwhile, one Rakesh Singh (35) son of Faquir Singh of Gangwan was found hanging at his home with the ceiling fan.
He was taken to Medical College Jammu, where doctors declared him as dead on arrival, police said.
Police have registered cases under relevant sections of the law at the concerned police stations and taken up further investigations.
