UDHAMPUR, Feb 15: In two separate cases, a 13-year old boy and a man were found dead under mysterious circumstances.
According to Police, the 13-year old boy was found dead at EMI Quarters Umara Morh, Udhampur. The deceased was identified as Master Prithvi Raj (13), son of HC 14 EME Vishwa Chohan, resident of Manja Riwadi, Tehsil Chikodi, Belgaum Karnataka.
He was found lying unconscious at the family quarter, this morning around 0647 hrs. Family members shifted him to Army Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Exact cause of death could not be ascertained and later the dead body was shifted to Udhampur District Hospital for the postmortem. A case has been registered in this connection at Udhampur Police Station for further investigation.
In another case, a man shifted to District Hospital Udhampur in an unconscious condition was also declared as brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Goga Ram (42), son of Khakhri Ram of Dandhota tehsil, Panchari. Inquest proceedings Under Section 174 CrPC have been initiated in this regard by Udhampur police.
