JAMMU, Oct 9: Two persons were found hanging today at their respective residences in city outskirts.
“A 33-old youth namely Karan Abrol, son of Gopal Abrol, resident of Sector 1 A South Extension, was found hanging this evening from the hook of the ceiling fan with the help of a bed-sheet at his residence,” a police official said.
He said the deceased was an employee of an American IT company and he used to work in the night at his laptop from the home. “The body has been shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for postmortem while inquest proceeding initiated in this connection in police station Bahu Fort,” the official added.
Meanwhile, the official said, a youth namely Parveen Singh (33) son of Shamsher Singh, resident of Pallanwala was also found hanging from a tree with the help of rope, near his residence.
He said the body was shifted to GMCH Jammu for postmortem while inquest proceeding initiated in this connection by police post Pallanwala to ascertain reason of death.
