JAMMU, July 14: Two persons were found hanging here today.
As per police sources, a man was found hanging in Barda area of Tehsil Akhnoor here today, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Rohit Sharma (40), son of Som Nath, a resident of Barda Tehsil Akhnoor District Jammu.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of Sub District Hospital (SDH) Akhnoor for completion of medical and legal formalities.
Inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiated by Akhnoor Police.
Meanwhile, a man was found hanging in his residence in Gurha Bakshi Nagar area here.
The victim was identified as Sanjeev Gupta, son of late Om Parkash, a resident of Gurha Bakshi Nagar District Jammu.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Bakshi Nagar Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
