Two Gujratis among 4 killed, 10 injured in road accidents

Srinagar, Apr 18: Four persons were killed, while ten persons were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said two Gujarat residents were killed when an Indica car, JK02AU/2707, and a truck, JK02F/1559, collided at Levdoora in Qazigund.
They have been identified as Jayaraj Bahi Harsoo Bahi son of Bhoja Bhai Chavda of Bhavnagar Gujarat and his daughter Chavda Jiya. Three other persons were injured in this accident, who have been shifted to SKIMS for treatment, the spokesman said.
A pedestrian, Lassa Mohammad Shiekh son of Mohammad Subhan Sheikh of Chee was killed after he was hit by a motorcycle, Chassis No. 8008544, driven by Haseeb Mushtaq Sheikh son of Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh of Laizbal at KP road near Oxford School in district Anantnag.
The motorcyclist also received injuries and has been hospitalized.
An unknown Tipper hit and injured Fayaz Ahmed Mir son of Sona-ul-Lah Mir of Konibal, Pampore, at TCI MAX Cement Factory Khrew. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
A Zen car, JK03B/8198, turned upside down at Brinti, Batpora in Achabal, resulting in injuries to the driver Mohammad Iqbal Wani son of Ghulam Hassan of Trehpoo in district Anantnag. The injured was shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment.
Five persons were injured when a vehicle, JK18/6111, driven by Reyaz Ahmed Dar son of Ali Mohammad Dar of Brazloo turned upside down at Cheyan Adigam crossing in Kulgam. All the injured were sifted to hospital for treatment, the spokesman said, adding police has registered cases in these accidents.
