Two held for smuggling bovines

JAMMU, May 16: Jhajjar Kotli police arrested two bovine smugglers and rescued six milch animals.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Jhajjar kotli police station laid a naka and intercepted a Mahindra Pick-up vehicle bearing registration number JK14-3023.
During checking, police rescued 6 bovine animals and arrested two persons, who have been identified as Mohammad Saleem, son of Mohammad Rafiq of Gole Gujral Jammu and Javed Ahmed, son of Ghulam Ali of Parnote, district Ramban.
A case under FIR number 47/15 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Jhajjar Kotli police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Jhajjar Kotli police station SI Hilal Azhar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Incharge SP Rural Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
