Srinagar, Apr 4: Police today said it has arrested two bootleggers and recovered illicit liquor on their instance in Baramulla district.
A police spokesman said following a tip off, police intercepted a Maruti car bearing registration number JK05/6081 and on its checking police recovered 45 bottles of illicit liquor.
“Two bootleggers identified as Jahangir Hussain Magray and Muzaffar Ahmad who were travelling in the vehicle have been taken into custody. A case FIR 51/2017 has been registered against them and further investigation has been taken up,” he added.
