JAMMU, Nov 4: Two persons were held today with illicit liquor by Domana police.
“Acting on specific information, a police party of police station Domana headed by SHO Domana, Inspector Rattan Singh Rana, raided the Gho Manhasan area of Pounichak and caught two persons namely Subhash Chander son of Pasha Ram of Ward No 4, Gho Manhasan and Jhinda Ram son of Indru Ram of Ward No 5, Gho Manhasan, and recovered 55 pouches of JK Desi Whisky from their possession which they had kept for selling to the public”, a police official said.
He said in this connection a case FIR No 336/2017 under Section 48(F) Excise Act has been registered at police station Domana. The whole operation was carried out under the guidance of Deputy SP, Verender Singh Kattal, SDPO Domana and under the command and control of SP (R) Jammu, Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
